Optimal Allocation of Comprehensive Resources for Large-Scale Access of Electric Kiln to the Distribution Network

With the significant progress of “coal to electricity” project, electric kiln equipment began be connected distribution network on a large scale, which caused power quality problems such as low voltage, high harmonic distortion rate, and reactive loss. This paper proposes two-stage grid comprehensive resource optimization configuration model. A multi-objective solution based joint simulation platform Matlab OpenDSS is developed. The aims control harmonics optimize power. In first stage, model established minimize active loss, voltage deviation, cost under constraint conditions margin, factor, compensation capacity. Furthermore, stage uses particle swarm (PSO) algorithm location capacity both series parallel devices in network. second optimal filter assumes APF objective function takes content total allowable current conditions. proposed eliminates by uniformly configuring filters centrally at system level. Finally, taking IEEE33 object considering change furnace permeability range 20%–50%, results show that effectively reduces network’s its significantly improve voltage.
